We are delighted to announce the return to the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair in London for the 10th edition of the UK’s largest and most celebrated contemporary print event. Taking place from 13–16 November 2025, the fair brings together leading printmakers, studios, and galleries, and we are excited to showcase a new wave of innovative works from CFPR Editions.

Pushing the Boundaries of Printmaking

CFPR Editions is the publishing studio of the Centre for Print Research, based at the University of the West of England, Bristol. Specialising in limited edition prints, we explore how the idea of the multiple can be expanded into new and unexpected dimensions.

Our work goes beyond traditional printmaking, experimenting with casting, robotics, construction, glass, ceramics, textiles, installation, and other cutting-edge techniques. This forward-thinking approach places CFPR Editions in a unique position within the print publishing market- combining craftsmanship with pioneering research into emerging technologies and novel materials.

New Works and Artist Collaborations

This year, we’ll be presenting an exciting new collection of limited edition prints developed through our artist-in-residence programme. These works represent a diverse range of approaches, from printing with mycelium and creating soundscapes using graphene to laser cutting, 3D fabrication, and printing onto unconventional materials such as textiles, glass, and ceramics.

Each edition reflects the collaborative spirit between artists and researchers at CFPR, challenging the boundaries of what print can be and inviting audiences to engage with the innovative possibilities of the medium.

Introducing the Curio Case

Alongside our newest Artists’ Editions, this year marks the first-ever public showcase of the Curio Case.

Building on the design principles of our Cabinet of Curiosities, the Curio Case is a smaller, more portable, and highly accessible display system. Designed to evoke playfulness and creativity, it invites curators, artists, and visitors of all ages to experiment with exhibition curation. Attendees can explore a thematic selection of CFPR’s print works or even imagine how their own artworks could be displayed.

Made from natural materials including pine and poplar plywood, the Curio Case combines stability, lightness, and refined craftsmanship with a contemporary, minimalist aesthetic. Its modular design makes it versatile for display, while pairing it with our mobile print studio allows participants to create, curate, and exhibit within the same space.

We’re bringing new editions, new energy, and the debut of our Curio Case to the 10th Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore our latest limited edition prints created in collaboration with early-career and established artists, as well as experience the first hands-on encounter with the Curio Case- a new way of engaging with printmaking, curation, and creativity.
