CFPR at Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair 2024

This year, we’re unveiling our Cabinet of Curiosities, showcasing exclusive Artists’ Editions, with new works by R. James Healy and Mi Ding. Join us for an insightful conversation hosted by the Centre for Print Research (CFPR) at the University of the West of England. Carinna Parraman, CFPR Director, will be in discussion with Master-Printer Laura Clarke Oaten and artist R. James Healy. They’ll explore the cutting-edge innovations at CFPR, focusing on the balance between traditional craft and new digital processes, reflecting on James’ recent works and examples from CFPR’s artist residency programme.

R. James Healy, renowned for his collaborations with leading visual effects studios on music videos and films, will share his experiences and insights into the evolving relationship between artists and technology in printmaking.

This marks CFPR’s second year presenting at Woolwich, bringing new collaborative artworks and exciting discussions. Be sure to revisit the 2023 panel featuring Tracy Hill, Chuck Elliot, Mike White, Carinna Parraman, and Laura Clarke for more on the fascinating world of print innovation.
