World Book Night 2025 – Talk to the Trees | Listen to the Trees | Limerick School of Art and Design, Ireland | 29/09/25 – 10/10/25

Our World Book Night exhibition showed 200+ works by artists responding to The Overstory by Richard Powers here at UWE’s Bower Ashton Library (April – July). The mail art swap has taken place, with a letterpress keepsake printed by CPFR PhD researcher Rachel Marsh of Semple Press.

Rachel produced a special edition for this year’s WBN participants: ‘Mycelial Whispers’, letterpress printed on PaperWise (made from agricultural crop waste) dyed with oak gall collected by Rachel on her walks and modified with iron and soda ash.

An exhibition of all works received (in poster form) will be shown at Church Gallery, Limerick School of Art and Design, Clare Street, Limerick City, Ireland from 29th September – 10th October. Thanks to Lorraine Neeson, Noelle Noonan and Sercan Sahin for the invitation to show the works.
