Vicki King- Exploring the affective possibilities of drawing

Vicki’s research and practice is located in exploring the affective possibilities of drawing using traditional tools and materials versus digital ones. She creates drawings and prints using extracted and abstracted mark making from her embodied experience of natural environments and heritage spaces.

Vicki King is an artist, researcher and educator immersed in the practice, culture, aesthetics and mythologies of drawing. She has been exploring the dialogue between traditional and digital mark making for nearly 20 years and has applied her research and practice to working with arts organisations and tech companies, and as a lecturer.
