Nós Criamos Problemas | We Create Problems by Fernanda Fedrizzi and Sarah Bodman

Problems is a publication produced by artist’s book researchers Fernanda Fedrizzi and Sarah Bodman, consisting of a bilingual book in two volumes. It launched recently at Bancaberta bookshop, in Porto Alegre, Brazil, with a conversation about artists’ books by Fernanda Fedrizzi and Paulo Silveira.

The content is housed in a sleeve shaped like an envelope, and the books are designed in the format of stickers. Through this work, conceptual and cataloguing issues were intentionally raised, causing some problems for professionals who work with books in libraries, collections, and archives. It forms part of a wider body of work by Fernanda Fedrizzi investigating publishing by artists.

Nós Criamos Problemas | We Create Problems has been catalogued into collections in Brazil, Portugal and the UK including Tate Britain, the British Library and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
