Clore Leadership Success
Associate Professor, Dr Tavs Jorgensen, from the Centre For Print Research, has been selected for the prestigious Emerging Leaders Course run by the Clore Foundation. Tavs was selected as one of 24 of the UK’s most promising emerging cultural leaders from over 200 applicants to the course. Furthermore, Tavs was awarded an Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) bursary to cover the fee of the week-long residential leadership training in Leamington Spa.
In October last year Tavs was awarded second phase funding for his AHRC Leadership Fellow award to explore new digital tooling approaches with ceramic extrusion. In this phase he is working with new partners, including the National Composite Centre, to investigate the use of ceramic extrusion in high performance applications within sectors such as aerospace and energy.
