CFPR researchers awarded funding from Nordic Culture Point for the ‘Scandinavian/Nordic Artists’ Books Partnership Project’

Congratulations to CFPR Senior Research Fellows Sarah Bodman and Angie Butler, and Tom Sowden, UWE Deputy Head of Department in the School of Art & Design, who have been awarded Nordic Culture Point funding.

This is a collaborative project bringing together artists, publishers, librarians and curators from Denmark, Norway, Sweden and the UK to discuss problems around collecting, archiving, curating, and working with artists’ books. This includes identifying and cataloguing artefacts, public engagement, exhibiting and creating artists’ books. Starting next December this 13 month project will include a two-day seminar in Bergen, a touring Librarian’s Artists’ Books exhibition, and the Bristol Artist’s Book Event (BABE) in spring 2021 at the Arnolfini.
