Join artist and researcher Angie Butler from the Centre for Fine Print Research (CFPR), UWE Bristol in an informal show and tell with an array of letterpress printed artists’ books from her personal collection.

Angie will be sharing some books and talking about when the letterpress process began to be utilised by creative practitioners who wanted to publish their own work and how is used innovatively in contemporary work today.

Hand sanitiser and gloves supplied if you’d like to handle the books.

Centre of Gravity is a new exciting and innovative project bringing together the expansive contemporary visual arts communities of Bristol and Bath to a point of focus. Running from the 2nd October to the 1st November, the exhibition will feature a wide range of work from over 60 artists and curators, a programme of events and performances, as well as key research projects and symposia.
