A fabulous showcase of the use of innovative tools. I would love to learn more and would be interested to see what has been done in glass.
Really beautiful work and I agree with Anonymous – a fabulous showcase. My feelings on – our shift towards digital and the lack of a physical experience of visiting a gallery. It is most likely that you would not be able to touch the exhibits. Viewing on a touch screen where you can zoom in and see great detail would not be possible physically – you can achieve a different kind of ‘closeness’ to the object. You can stare at it for as long as you like without obstructing anyone else’s view or getting in anyone’s way (or getting on anyone else’s nerves for that matter). As more collections, exhibitions and events are available online, we are able to ‘attend’ events all around the world, which previously would not have been possible.
