Sofie Boons Discusses Lab-Grown Gems on BBC Radio 4’s You and Yours

We are delighted to share that Sofie Boons, a recent PhD graduate and current researcher at the Centre for Print Research (CFPR), was featured on BBC Radio 4’s You and Yours program on January 20, 2025.

Can’t afford a diamond? How about one grown in a laboratory. They are cheaper, more sustainable and there are no worries about exploitation in their production but are laboratory grown gems really a substitute for the real thing dug out of the ground?
