CFPR Researcher at The Royal Danish Academy for Architecture, Design and Conservation

CFPR’s Associate Professor Tavs Jorgensen will be vising The Royal Danish Academy for Architecture, Design and Conservation (KADK). Tavs will be meeting senior academics to discuss collaboration on research to investigate the use of digital fabrication technologies to innovate with ceramics in architecture. The research carried out  to investigate new approaches with ceramic extrusion, which Tavs has undertaken as a part of his AHRC Leadership Fellow award, is likely to form a central foundation for this research collaboration.  The interaction with KADK also concerns a wider collaboration with Aalto University, Finland on research into the use of Geopolymers as a low carbon alternative to concreate. Furthermore, Tavs will be delivering a guest lecture to the Crafts in Glass and Ceramics course on Bornholm Denmark.
